Anyone who knows me well knows that I love to do impactful work. I have been given the chance to go on a medical mission trip to Kenya in April. There, I will working with a group to provide medical care to children in collaboration with an amazing organization, the AIC Kajiado Child Care Center. This care center works with children with physical disabilities and provides a treatment program to allow the child to be rehabilitated to their full potential allowing them to access mainstream schooling.
I have always felt called to go on a medical mission and I feel so blessed to have this amazing opportunity.
Trip Description:
I will be joining other students of the nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and physical therapy departments of Hardin Simmons University on a 2 week medical mission trip. The group will be staying in Nairobi and traveling to Kajiado, a neighboring community, to set up medical camps.
Where your donation will go:
The money will go toward vaccinations, airfare, lodging, transportation, food and visas.
If you feel compelled to support me as I go on my first medical mission, I would be very grateful for your donation. Every dollar helps and no donation is too small. If a monetary donation is beyond your reach, I would covet your prayers of support.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
Thank you,
