Supporting Kayden will help pay for his overall tuition for the program which includes his housing, meals, travel to and from the airport and ice rinks as well as any equipment he may need for his trip.
Kayden's love of hockey started when a new friend in a new city invited him to watch a youth hockey game in the fifth grade. Before we knew it, Kayden was playing the next season. As a Freshman at Carmel High School, Kayden tried out and started as a Carmel Icehound Practice Squad member in 2019 and by mid-season he was given a spot on their active roster. That same season he was 1 of 2 Freshman that qualified on his team to participate in the State Playoffs. His Sophomore year he played as an active roster Icehounds Blue player again and was named as an Athletic Scholar for the season for his grade point average. By his Junior year, he was chosen to serve as the captain of his team and he is now starting his journey on deciding where to go to college. He was chosen along with only 60 other players from all over the nation and Canada to participate in the Tier 1 Hockey Academy Program. This program will prepare him mentally and physically for collegiate level hockey as well as help him academically. He will be coached and mentored by coaches and staff with extensive experience in collegiate level hockey and be placed in front of college recruiters in hopes to secure a spot on a Juniors team prior to attending school. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting him on this journey. We can't wait to see him grow as a player and a teammate.
