Justice for Paul

When I got locked up I was still being a kid with a childish mindset. Everything that I was doing was all an act of what I thought was cool. I didn't consider other peoples feelings or think about them really fearing their lives because in my heart and my mind I knew I wasn't going to hurt anyone, but what I failed to realize is everyone else was truly terrified. I understand why they went against me because I realize they were going against the person in the mask. That person playing with a gun and acting childish had already been locked up since 16 years of age and had no sense of direction, authority, or discipline in life. Having been locked up for 12 years now shows me how lost I truly was and how much of a false image I was putting out there. I was just a lost person, wearing a mask, playing the part but now that I am of a sober mind and living as a son of God I realize that I would never want to make anyone feel fearful ever again!! I pray that God will touch the hearts of those that were involved and let them know that I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart and that I forgive the accusations because I know what they felt was real even though it wasn't reality to me. The last few years since I have given my life to Christ I've grown in my identity and I know who I am now. Ive been in the word of God and also have surrounded myself with other Christians preparing my life in a stable, responsible and godly manner for a second chance. A second chance is going to be costly but I am asking and praying for you to consider donating. I am no longer a lost child with no hope but I am a man of God full of hope, who is ready to go home and have a second chance at life. -Paul Dills
