More Info

In just a few short months. We will be going on a short-term mission’s trip to El Salvador with Rock City Church. We are so blessed to go back again. We are exited to see all the things God has been doing over this last year

About the places we are helping in San Salvador, El Salvador:

While in San Salvador we will be helping out in 2 places, Guayabo & Soyapango. Guayabo is located on the mountain just outside the city. It is a poor community where most homes do not have running water and the average salary is $100 a month. Soyapango is another poor community located 30-40 minutes outside of the city. It is known for its extremely high rates of gang activity and dysfunctional families. At both places we will be helping out at the Children’s Development Center (CDC). At the CDC we are able to give the children the daily nutrition they need, medical care, homework assistance, and love. Along side helping the children at the CDC we will also be helping with any needed construction at these places.

We are asking for your support in two ways. First and foremost, we need some diligent, persistent prayer partners! If you remember to do nothing else on our behalf, please remember to pray! This is so vital as we begin making preparations for our trip and then as we actually arrive on site to minister to the poor and hurting of El Salvador. Secondly, we are asking for support financially in this outreach endeavor. We believe that this is what God would have us do and thus we are very confident that He will put this request on the hearts of the folks he would have support this mission opportunity. All that we ask of you is to pray about it and then follow what God wants you to do for His Kingdom.
