Jeff Wright fell of a roof Friday, February 15 2013, breaking his neck (C2 and C6 vertebrae) and badly fracturing his skull. He was rushed to Saginaw’s Covenant HealthCare Hospital where they determined he was paralyzed from his neck down with internal bleeding in his brain.
He IS able to move a couple fingers on his right hand and is able to speak from time to time. He remembers his name and all of his family, but doesn’t know what year it is or how old he is or things like that.
Due to the extensive swelling in his brain, the doctors do not know the true extent of his injuries. They DO know he has suffered permanent brain damage and that there will be permanent paralysis, but will not be able to determine how much until the swelling goes down.
Right now our family is spending as much time at the hospital as possible, which is very expensive and taking time away from our normal work schedules, which is also costing money. We are hoping to raise some money to keep the rent and bills paid in Jeff’s home during these difficult times and to help with gas and other expenses of going back and forth and staying at the hospital.
Any and all donations are very much appreciated and so very helpful! And even if you cannot spare a donation, if you could keep Jeff in your thoughts and prayers it would mean a lot!
Thank you and God bless
