Our family of 6 is permanently relocating to Ireland to serve as missionaries--dedicating the rest of our lives to see the Irish impacted by the love and power of God.
Within 6 months of getting married, Jennifer and I heard the Lord speak to us concerning Ireland. I was at work and she was at home. I heard Him say, "Someday you will live and raise your children in Ireland." She was impressed by the Lord that He would move us out of the United States to serve Him in another country. That was February 22, 2001 and ever since that day we've known the Lord had something for us to do in Ireland. Over the past 14 years a passion and desire to see the Irish people impacted by the power of the Gospel has grown in our hearts and the Lord has placed a great love in our hearts for this land and these people.
Along with this passion and desire, God has now opened doors for us to go to Ireland. Over the past 3 years the Lord has connected us with Irish pastors and leaders who have welcomed us with open arms. We've grown especially close to one couple, Brian and Doris Synnott from West Cork County, and will be working with them and the church they started in 2004.
Ireland is in a very desperate spiritual state. The latest statistics show less than 1% of the Irish are born-again believers. The suicide rate is incredibly high (currently the highest in Europe). Addiction and depression run rampant. But while the need is great we know that Jesus is greater! He wants to bring healing and freedom to many broken and hurting people and we are grateful that He has called us to be a part of it.
With about 6 weeks left until our permanent relocation to Ireland we invite you to be a part of the launching of this missions work. We have purchased our plane tickets so everything now goes toward shipping, vehicle, and appliances (different voltage in Ireland so we had to get rid of all our electric appliances!). Thank you so much!
