Hey Everyone!
With COVID-19 shutting everything down, it affects things in rescue too. Those in the process of applications, I apologize for the extra time they will now take. Home visits are on hold, until the recommendation of social distancing is lifting. Routine vetting is on hold, as veterinary clinics are seeing medical patients only at this time, which will further delay dogs being 'ready for adoption'. On the flip side, rescues and shelters are seeing an increase in surrenders. And many of the dogs will overwhelm shelters and need somewhere to go. The reality is, if you only have 50 cages, and 100 dogs come in, decisions have to be made. Funds are urgently needed. I'm sure everyone has noticed, I'm pretty stuffed to the brim right now. Once the health restrictions are lifting, there's a slew of dogs that need to get there vetting done. To be able to help any new dogs that become urgent through this time, it comes down to dollars. It is a hard time for many right now, but if you are in the fortunate position of being financially stable, and having been considering donating to rescue, we all need your help. And certainly I'd be honored if you chose to donate to Inugoya. Thank you EVERYONE for your support so far. We'll get through these next months <3

Wow! Who's the worst at updating? It's me! Thank you all so very much for your support through the year. We're half way through and we have helped so many dogs. I am grateful! With the recent "moving day" in Quebec there have been many, many dogs in need, on top of the usual numbers. As such, I've had quite an influx here! Lots of vetting to be done, so as always, funds are needed. If you have a dollar to spare, the dogs would be forever grateful Thank you all for your kindness!

**EMERGENCY**
Ricochet is in the hospital this morning, we suspect she's eaten something she shouldn't have, and it's stuck. Donations are desperately needed. No amount is too small, every dollar helps. Please consider skipping your coffee today and sharing your change.

We have lots of very large medical bills coming up. 2 major dentistries for our new seniors, plus their spay and neuter surgeries. They are both currently going through treatment for Whipworms, and Diablo treatment for Lyme disease and Anaplamosis on top of that. They have their recheck appointments tomorrow, Angel will be getting another abdominal x-ray, and Diablo rechecking his CBC. We have several other surgeries hanging in the wind, waiting to be done, as well as working our way through everyone's annual heartworm and preventative blood screenings. This is a heavy financial time for us here at Inugoya, and we really need your help! No amount is too small, every $1 gives us the funds we need, to give these dogs the medical care they deserve and require. We thank you for your support!

We need your help! We're about to hit fund over-drive. We have 2 new beautiful seniors that are going to need some extensive care, one more neuter, several dentals, a couple lumpectomies in the wings, the balance of Rebound's leg braces, his front feet shoes, our annual heartworm & preventative blood tests for the whole crew, Flea/Tick/Heartworm prevention for the coming year, ongoing medications for many of the crew, and oh, did we mention we suffered roof damage in the big windstorm and are needing repairs? This all comes from the same pot!
Please help sustain our ability to provide for these wonderful dogs by donating when you can, and by sharing this post whenever you see it. The more people we reach, the more support we can gather, and the more dogs we can help!
Much love from all the dogs here at Inugoya. We thank you in advance!
