Carmen Cecilia Ruiz, our amazing Abuela, passed away Friday morning, November 3rd, after eight years of living with Alzheimer's. Our Mama Carmen is finally at peace and reunited with her late husband, Antonio F. Ruiz, Papi Tony, watching over us now.
We invite friends and family to join us for her Memorial and viewing on Tuesday morning, November 7th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Williams Funeral Home, 5628 Broadway (corner of 235th Street and Broadway), in Bronx, NY. Burial will immediately follow at the Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ.
Instead of flowers, we ask for donations to this page. Any funds collected will be donated in Mama Carmen's name to the Alzheimer's Association to support its continued offering of Alzheimer-related care, guidance, and support, as well as accelerating research toward a cure.
