From the deepest parts of mine + Grandjean's hearts, THANK YOU for everything.
After talking to Ali and Carol, I wanted to extend the deepset thank you to all folks that attended the celebration of life in Ohio, those that had their own mini celebrations of Luke's life, and those that reached out during this last Mother's Day.
The family is touched that Luke has brought a piece of joy to all your lives. To know he was loved by you all has brought a bit of bright light to some very dark days, and appreciate all the contributions you've brought during this challenging time.
The heavens gained another shining light on April 20th, 2021 when Luke Grandjean joined the angels above. Luke was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. He touched the lives of many - family, friends, former competitors and athletic coaches, and peers at NetSuite, whom he quickly became the best of friends within 10 months.
All proceeds will go to the Grandjean family and their foundation of choice.
Luke Grandjean, age 25, passed away on April 20, 2021 in Austin, Texas. He was born on August 23, 1995 and has brought joy to his family since that day.
Following his graduation from Kent State, he landed his dream job working in the NetSuite division of Oracle in Austin, Texas. He was incredibly excited for what the future held and talked daily of all his hopes and dreams, which he was just beginning to make a reality. We can't imagine the future without him in it.
A private funeral service and internment were held in Texas. His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 15th at the Sable Creek Golf Course in Hartville, OH.
Luke was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, co-worker, and friend. He will be missed forever.
