Managed in collaboration with the award-winning nonprofit social enterprise First Book, KFFL provides new books to children from low-income families. First Book’s mission is to provide brand new books and educational resources to children who need them the most on an ongoing basis. They have put over 130 million new books into the hands of children across the country and have created new ways of doing good by applying smart business practices to make books available, affordable, and accessible to educators serving the children in greatest need. First Book is helping guide the publishing industry as it evolves so that all children can benefit from new technologies and flourish as readers.

Your tax-deductible online contributions make it possible for local First Book Recipient Groups to obtain books through the First Book Marketplace. This award-winning online bookstore offers new children’s books at deeply discounted prices only to programs and schools serving children in low-income communities.

The KPMG Information Management Office will send your contribution to KFFL and First Book directly. As a thank you gift for your contribution, the IMO will send you a copy of their 2015 cookbook.

(Cookbook thank you gift applicable to KPMG US employees only and will be delivered through interoffice mail, $10 minimum donation required. 1 thank you gift per donation. To receive an extra copy, please make a second donation!)

Update!!  Thanks for helping the IMO achieve its original fundraising goal of $1500!  With your generosity, we will be able to provide 600 books to children in need.  However, we’d love to be able to provide even more.  Help us meet our new goal of $2500, or 1000 books for kids!
