My funding campaign has concluded and I want to thank each one of you who contributed toward my goal to raise enough to purchase an accessible van.,
While my initial goal was not reached, through all of your online donations coupled with those donations received offline, I was able to garner enough to negotiate and the owners accepted my offer!! I now have my van and I am grateful beyond words.
THANK YOU ALL again for changing the trajectory of my future with your generosity.
I pray God blesses your lives in astounding ways.

My Story…
My journey to becoming a ‘Differently-Abled’ person began with a frightening diagnosis of a debilitating muscle disease, Polymyositis.
Currently, I am unable to enjoy MOST of life's most basic opportunities and activities, such as going to a movie, visiting friends and/or family, a trip to a restaurant, taking a trip or going to the store because I need an accessible van that can transport me as well as my scooter.
I just want to be able to do, go and enjoy life's everyday pleasantries and activities when I want to just as any other individual. More importantly, without having to be inserted into someone else's life to do so. Having to wait on others to 'fit you in' is really not a good feeling.
It is an excruciating life shift, mentally and emotionally, to go from being able to do WHAT EVER you want, whenever you want to, now needing to wait on someone take you EVERY time, EVERY where, for EVERY THING.
I say, with tears, I MISS My Independence Soooooo much!!.
Because of my disability, my ONLY viable means of transportation has either been Medical Transport or my city’s Para Transport system, which has proven to be less than safe. I have been tipped, flipped over, my ankles have been smashed with retractable tie downs, I’ve endured insensitive, unconcerned, speeding, sleep-while-driving vehicle drivers and disinterested managers causing incredible anxiety.
Sadly, having no other transportation options has me feeling trapped and boxed in.
Having my own accessible van would transform my life immeasurably. I have been blessed to find an ideal vehicle from a wonderful private owner willing to sell, this accessible van is in pristine condition, but I need your help. I am asking for your help.
Prayerfully consider making a donation towards helping to meet this dire need for the freedom and independence to do normal things that will make my life more satisfying and enjoyable.
All donations of any size is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help, and please include me in yours prayers...
