In one year of war, our small team has raised over $150k of aid that we brought to small towns in the east of Ukraine

-        We passed over 25000 bags of food

-        Purchased and distributed over 20000 of life-saving medication

-        Brought generators to support trauma hospital and maternity ward

-        Brought 100 wheelchairs and 25 hospital beds

-        Provided important life-saving equipment to defenders and first responders

-        Supported and thousands of people of small towns near front-line in Donbas, Ukraine.

About Us:

Since Feb 24, 2022, over 11 million people have fled their homes, seeking shelter in the West of the country or abroad. There are others, however, who remain in volatile areas of the country, who are cut off from essential resources like food and medicine. These include those who are physically unable to risk the journey because of health or age, and the caregivers who remain to support them.

As a Ukrainian now living in America, I have been horrified to watch the destruction of my homeland from afar, and eager to mobilize to help my Ukrainian family, friends, and neighbors face this crisis. I’ve partnered with Svitlyachky Blago (“Fireflies for Hope”), a trusted NGO based in Ukraine, to aid the people of my small town and neighboring areas in need.

Our team consists of courageous, dedicated team members. We recently lost our fearless leader Sira to cancer, but, this woman taught us all to fight for what is right until our last breath, so we continue our work.

I, Oksana, am responsible for securing aid and connecting with American and European organizations and individuals who want to get involved in our humanitarian efforts. We also have boots-on-the-ground helpers located in different cities and towns, who are helping identify specific needs and deliver supplies.

What we do:

While governments and large NGOs are providing aid on a larger scale, they simply are not capable of reaching every part of the country or addressing people’s specific needs. Our organization provides urgent help to the most vulnerable by procuring and distributing vital medicine, food, and supplies, as well as securing shelter and funding life-saving health treatments. Here are some of the services we’ve been able to provide thus far:

And all of this we were able to accomplish just with the private donations we have received thus far and connections we have been able to build with other organizations in the world

HOWEVER, as the situation continues to worsen, we see the need to continue our efforts even greater than before. Our mission is to continue adapting to the changing situation and provided help to more areas hit by the circumstances.

We plan to do with funds raised:

·        Find more aid, and expand to towns and cities nearby where people are asking for help.

·        Prepare to receive, assist more refugees, and organize cars/busses to evacuate people if needed

·        Continue to assist children and families with medical, food, and humanitarian supplies

·        Evaluate our work and priorities most important needs and help where help is needed

Update #7

Many don't realize that first responders and defenders take care of people in heavily bombed areas. No volunteer can get in places where they can get in to. We work closely with our defenders and first responders to reach people in hard to reach areas
