Humanitarian Aid for Konotop Children & Elderly

Humanitarian Aid for Konotop Children & Elderly

From Lena Singleton

I am raising money for humanitarian aid for the residents of Konotop, Ukraine. The city is almost entirely out of baby formula, diapers (baby & adults), hygiene products, medication. Food is scarce (especially fresh).

More Info

Konotop is a city of 85,000 people, situated in Sumy region of Ukraine. There is intense fighting happening in the region and it is extremely difficult if not impossible to deliver food, medication and other products to Konotop.

A group of young Konotop women are volunteering to seek out essential products needed for the children and the elderly. They are working with other volunteers across the country to get the necessary items delivered into town by car. The head volunteer is a very young mother of a toddler; yet she is risking her own life, as she drives to other cities to secure these products.

The needs are increasing every day, and the current donations of the residents are not enough. They need help.

Here are the products they need the most:

1. Baby products: baby formula, baby food (especially meat purees); wipes

2. Food: oatmeal, buckwheat, rice, eggs; fruit and vegetables are hard to find, meat

3. Hygiene products for babies and adults: shampoo, soap, detergent

4. Most medications, including for the maternity ward and cancer patients

Your donations will go towards buying these products. Please help as much as you can. Every donation, no matter the amount will make a difference!

Thank You!
