Google's calendar service has made many lives easy. You can plan and schedule events without worrying about what if you forget about them. This feature can alert you on time. Another good thing about this feature is its availability across different platforms - mobile and desktop. Due to this, you can search for an event anywhere on the go by filtering it by date, location, and other parameters. However, you may not be comfortable accessing this everywhere due to the lack of awareness. If this is the case, you don't need to bother. Here is a quick brief on how you can search for desired items in calendar regardless of whether you use iPhone, Android mobile, PC, or Mac.
Accessing Google Calendar on desktop
You can be a PC or Mac user who needs to browse through the events. For this, you have to open your browser window and visit calendar.google.com. Log into your account.
In the top right of your calendar window, there will be a magnifying glass. When you click on this, a search toolbar appears.
Write the search phrase in the toolbar. Google will prompt you about people, events, and other matching terms. Choose the one that syncs with your query. Just remember, Google will look for information across different products, such as Google Drive and Gmail. If you click there, you can jump to another app. So, be careful.
On the right side of the search toolbar, you can see a small reverse arrow. You can click and type calendar name, details of an event, name of the meeting, owner of the meeting, location, date range, and so on. The desired results will pop up eventually.
Accessing Google Calendar on mobile
Whether you are a busy professional or have to travel a lot, you can be comfortable using the calendar on your mobile device the most. If you have to filter an event on this device, you can go to your Google Calendar app and tap on the menu on the top left side of the screen. The menu appears as the three flat lines. Select search and enter the terms or events you wanted to see. The moment you click on search, a list of matching results will open.
