We are raising money for the welfare of the families who were affected by the Australian Wildfires. The fire situation has worsened significantly since the beginning of November 2019 with hundreds of fires currently burning across the country. The extent of the fires is so large that they can be seen by satellites in orbit. Thousands of firefighters have been deployed to try and minimize the damage, but the fire activity is so extreme there is little firefighters can do.

Along with the immediate threat from wildfires, smoke is causing poor air quality in both Australia and neighbouring New Zealand. Sydney’s famous landmarks have been shrouded in smoke as nearby fires caused health conditions that exceeded hazardous levels. There has been a 25 percent increase in respiratory-related illnesses in hospitals and smoke detectors across Sydney have been activated despite being miles away from the fires.

A lot of families has been affected by the fire, some lost thier lives and properties, some lost thier children, while some children lost their parents to the fire. This families need our help, they need Shelter, Food and Clothes, they need as little as you can offer. They will survive thanks to people like you and me.

Your donation helps Red Cross give people the support they need in disasters, whenever and wherever they happen. We have decades of experience in caring for people affected by earthquakes, cyclones, floods, storms, fire, drought and other emergencies.
