This event was created in response to the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti. This year also a contribution will be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society in Australia to aid in their recovery.
Hope for Haiti is an annual event hosted by the Black Student Science Organization at San Diego State University. This event was created by BSSO alum Ms. Delnita Moore in response to the devastating magnitude 7 earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010. This program is a benefit fundraiser that provides an outlet for local talent. All proceeds raised will be donated to relief efforts in Haiti. This year also a contribution will be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Australia to aid in their recovery.
