My plans are to be up by Jan 2020 and open for spring of 2020.
The funds will be put into the property at $50,000 to start preparation for the building. The building will be a 60' by 100' metal (roughly $60,000) building with a shop, a honey room, wax room, office, lab and storage rooms. The property has 2 small ponds and will need a well and septic system.

Operation Plans and purpose:
Add to the honey bee population.
Help farmers and gardeners with pollination
Educate the community of honey bees and their importance
Programs:
Elementary grade levels:
Field trips with no yard time only observation hives, learning hives, learning posters and wax room projects.
Middle school grade levels:
Field trips limited yard time,observation hives, learning hives, learning posters and wax room projects.
High school grade levels:
Agriculture department field trips full learning objectives which include yard time.
Supervised work experience program.
College Level:
We have two colleges in our area; South Georgia State College and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. There are five more colleges in bordering counties that I will reach out to as well.
Both have agriculture departments. Bee research lab will be an off campus learning and research type class room.
Student work experience program. College students will be able to work during time from classes around their schedule to maintain a good student/college relationship.
Home schooled students:
Field trips/educational tours will be arranged as parent/teacher sees fit for the education of their student. All learning courses for home schooled students will be offered on certificate basis to be used as educational credits for the students.
Families:
Family and guest tours will be set up according to the wishes of the group and will receive certificates for "Introduction to Beekeeper's Course".
Club Programs:
Saturdays Mid morning Club will be for ages 13 and under. Club will consist of membership card with pic, hands on learning, wax room projects and "Little Beekeeper's" completion certificate.
Saturday early noon Club for 14 to 17 years of age. Club will consist of membership card with pic, hands on learning, honey extraction course, wax room projects and "Junior Beekeeper's" completion certificate.
Adult Club:
Beekeeper's Club 18 and up. Membership card w/pic. Help others in learning and understanding the importance of beekeeping.
Help each other setup, repair and maintain hives.
Giving advise, tips and working on agricultural research of honey bees.
Eventually be able to offer full Beekeeper's courses for actual certification levels from beginner to master beekeeper's.
Honey is just a extra funds by-product.
