I'm Majd, a 26 years old Syrian guy who lives in Istanbul, Turkey.

I have big ambition and dreams to achieve but there is always an obstacle. In my case money!

I searched and applied for a lot of companies but none has replied and even if they do, they offer me a very low salary which barely covers my living costs not to mention saving money. I live on the minimum daily living money.

I found the turning point in my life. A lifetime opportunity that will change my life and will help me support my family financially.

A few months ago I became interested in UX/UI design. It's a very promising and exciting field. I searched for online courses, I read about Ironhack institute that has ranked as #1 UI/UX Bootcamp in the world. I thought that a short course is better than university study, it’s shorter in duration and will prepare me better for the job market, I applied for the camp and I got accepted after doing a technical project and three interviews! Even though I have an old laptop that doesn't function well and is really slow, I made the project.

The institute offers a two years period for installments and job guarantee, so I could work and study and cover my living costs.

My serious problem is the blocked account that I must deposit 5000 Euros to apply for the Netherlands visa where the camp is. I asked my siblings, relatives, co-workers, friends, NGOs and foundations and even asked a bank for a loan but no positive results. I had to delay the course from January 2020 to June 2020 until I could arrange that amount.

I feel desperate, disappointed and helpless to get that amount.  My time is running out.

I need 5000 Euros for the bank account as required for the visa and 2000 Euros to buy a new laptop and the airplane ticket.

You are my last hope friends!

I appreciate your generous help and I will be able to return the favor and help other students in the future.

Thanks a lot :)
