Dear friends and family: We invite you to take part in helping our friends from FJN to continue serving the neediest children of Cali by ensuring they can receive food, shelter, and an education in a safe environment.
Kids receive breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks everyday at FJN. Meals have proper nutritional value in order to ensure their physical development.
Includes water, sewer, electricity, and telephone
Kids take swimming lessons once a week. FJN hires a private bus to make two trips on Wednesdays to take the kids back and forth.
About 20 of the 112 current enrolled children spend four nights a week at the FJN home (Casa Hogar). These kids experience neglect and lack of proper nutrition in their own homes.
Fundación Educativa Jesús de Nazareth (Jesus of Nazareth Educational Foundation) is located in Siloé, one of the poorest areas of Cali, Colombia and provides education, food and values to the most needy of children. The foundation is run by a committed woman that dedicates her life to the cause; however, the organization struggles to cover administrative costs such as utilities, teachers’ salaries, rent, and food. To learn more about the living conditions of the children and their families, and the work of FJN, see a video and news article about the FJN's work.
We are fundraising once again to continue supporting our friends from FJN to stay strong and active in their mission and service. Your previous support has made such a significant impact! They have doubled the number of children, have grown in staff, and kids are thriving in their studies and values!
We would like to extend a very special invitation to be part of this cause by donating any amount you wish to contribute. You can rest assured that any contributions will be handed with the utmost care and will reach the kids and their families.
Thank you very much for your contribution and support! God bless.
"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done." Proverbs 19:17
