Help Low-Income Vulnerable & Disabled Elderly live and die in the comfort of their own homes surrounded by loved ones by underwriting full scholarships for 24/7 in-home care.   With severe funding cuts, publicly-funded chore worker services for needy seniors hasn't existed for many years.   Funded live-in care has never existed.   Needy seniors are forced into nursing homes as a result.Statistics prove that the majority of elderly who live in their own homes survive on average 2-5 years longer than if they live in a nursing home.  Approximately 60% of elderly seniors living in nursing homes die within the first year.  By charging seniors who can afford to pay the full rate of $12,000 to $15,000/mo. for live-in/in-home care by professional caregivers, all revenue will underwrite scholarships for low-income seniors.  The founder has been a nonprofit fundraiser for decades & has started nonprofits remotely in 4 states for others (please contact us for fundraising qualifications). We need $9,323 to:  secure our 501(c)3 to guarantee tax-deductible donations; write grants; secure our state licenses; design a website to promote services through digital marketing to senior centers and other appropriate services; enroll doctors, social workers & hospitals for senior referral; and, recruit caregivers through Seattle/King County Area Agency on Aging through our remote office. Millions of seniors own or rent their own homes/apartments but are forced into nursing homes without long-term care insurance.  Many seniors become homeless.  After decades of living in their own home & being surrounded by memories, their new “home” becomes a 200 sq. ft room with a single bed, nightstand, dresser & a few boxes of photos & memories, amidst ubiquitous hospital odors and no privacy.  Seniors work their entire lives raising children & making the world a better place only to be forgotten when it’s decided they are no longer valuable & productive citizens. Many seniors die alone in a small nursing home room with little or no time for nursing staff to contact their relatives.

TO OUR KNOWLEDGE, NO OTHER NONPROFIT IN THE PACIFIC NW PROVIDES THIS SCHOLARSHIP SERVICE FOR THE ELDERLY.   FOR COMPLETE PROGRAM SERVICES & FINANCIAL/BUDGET BREAKDOWN, PLEASE CONTACT US._____________________________________________________________*According to IRS Code 1023 instructions for public charities under charitable organizations 501(c)3:   "An organization can operate as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization while awaiting approval, but donors won’t have the assurance that contributions to the organization are tax-deductible until the application is approved."  An organization has 27 months to apply for their 501(c)3 IRS tax status from the date they were formed.  Repservices.org was approved as a nonprofit charitable organization by the State of Washington on 2/12/19.  UBI:  604 392 318
