I am raising money to start a regenerative farm. Our goal is to provide high quality farm goods, connection with our surrounding community and to bless those in need. We need the land and need 20% down to start.
How it started
I have had a vision in my heart for five years. My dream has been to have my own regenerative farm. Over the years I put it to the side to handle family, kids and work. This year I decided that I was going to make a career change and the Lord brought that dream back into my heart immediately. I was excited and nervous to take this project on. I prayed and he brought together a community of people within our church community that also shared in this dream.
God has been moving so quickly to confirm and push forward the desires of my heart. He has planted a seed in others that have also had this desire out on their hearts and we are now working together to find and purchase land. Hebrews 6:7 "Land that drinks the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God."
We want our farm to be a fully functioning regenerative farm that means we have chickens, ruminants and pigs to help repair and renew the soil. Those animals would be raised outside in the sunshine without any antibiotics or any unnecessary feeds. We want to share our experiences with our community and want to invite others to come visit and share in fellowship on the property. Part of our vision is to also share and tithe 10% of our produce and meats to our local church and other local food banks. To provide members in the community with high quality food. The list can go on and on we have so many dreams for this land!
Where the money will go
The money we raise would be used to go towards the purchase of the property and if we have enough to help install irrigation and begin building chicken tractors and garden beds. The money would be used to help us start up this farm.
