If you’re a dog lover like me than you understand me completely. For me my pit-bull Lucky is a very precious dude. He’s very much like a family member and treated very much as such.

My best buddy is the reason why dog is mans best friend. One a quiet night, I took my dog for a walk. Like I always do and I’m very sure many of you do the same. But on this particular night my life was put to the test when a man came out of nowhere with a gun. He shoved the gun in my face and demanded money. Lucky leaped into action, tugging at the mans pants leg. He then turned his attention from me to my dog, pointing the gun at him.

I grabbed the man from behind as my dog jumped up. He locked his jaws around the mans wrist were the gun was and he dropped it. And I throw the man down on the ground pinned him there until the police came. We help each other that night. I often look back on that horrible night if he wasn’t there with me. I could’ve been dead.

But on the night of October 6 2013 I wasn’t so lucky. I took my dog on his usual walk when several young folks show up, tackling me to the ground. When Lucky tried to help me, some of the boys brutally punched and kicked my dog for awhile and some others held me back so I couldn’t help my dog.

Lucky for me some over dog walkers that night came along and scared them off.

But right now Lucky is in critical condition with serious head trauma issues, broken ribs, broken leg and punctured lung. I’m doing fine suffering from minor cuts and a cracked rib.

So I’m not completely sure of the dogs prognosis as of yet. But I do know Lucky has a long recovery ahead. So I don’t have the money or the level of support that my dog needs.

Could you help us? Your donation will save Lucky’s life and cover his medical bills. Any amount you could give would be a blessing. Together we all can make big impact on saving our fury little friends.

Lucky and I love you and thank you so much for your blessings!
