BB needs your help! Earlier this year, we aquired a 3,000 square foot space to continue creating events that produce love and a sense of pride within the community. With your help, we can build on that purpose.
Brwnbox Kitchen started in 2015 with a goal to bring the community together in a unique way. We knew that our friends and local residents were growing tired of always traveling to NYC to find fun so we wanted to create experiences right in our hometown. Our founder Chef Almaz Adeigbola knew that the best way to gather community would be over food and special events, so that’s what we did. We started as creative nomads popping up in various restaurants and different art studios throughout NJ. In 2019 we moved into our first space and soon realized we were outgrowing it! We have held community movie screenings, yoga classes, holiday dinners for the community, pop-ups to showcase small business owners, and various wellness panels.
Now we need your help to help complete renovations so that we can open the doors to our new home for the community.
With the help of our community, staff and a lot of bootstrapping from our founder we have brought our first floor being used for retail and added event space to a functional capacity. Our second floor is in need of building out full kitchen that can be outfitted for commercial use for our successful dinner parties, community cooking classes and live experiences. The second floor also has a full multifunctional open room we would like to outfit for the needs of local creatives who may need to use the space.
Our purpose is to continue creating events that produce love and a sense of pride within the community. With your help, we can build on that purpose. Not only do we want to host our own events but we would open our doors to other creatives in the wellness space so that they can share their talents as well.
Thank you so much in advance for hearing us out, we hope to see you at our grand opening!
