My wife and I have lived with her parents for almost the entire duration of our relationship up to this point. I love them both dearly and we had decided that we would stick around with them to help with the household needs as they are both disabled.
Until my wife's brother moved in. Two years ago. With his son. And four dogs. (He'd been having opiate addiction issues.) His son moved out after a year of us working with CPS and making sure he went to school, but the brother and dogs are still here. There is not enough room in the house for all of us. My wife and I basically just live in our bedroom. The quarantine has made that worse.
The four dogs are NOT housetrained and it is near on impossible to keep up with them. We are both highly allergic to their waste. My wife and I tried to hang in there but we just cannot do it any longer. We need our own space.
We just need some help to get on our feet, then we can stand on our own.
