Help Ukrainians Dmitry and Dima

From Michael Goodridge

My good friends and co-workers Dmitry Titov and Dima Portenko are Ukrainians currently displaced due to the invasion. They have been forced to leave their homes and I am raising funds to cover their relocation costs.

More Info

My good friends and co-workers Dmitry and Dima  are native Ukrainians that are currently displaced due to the Russia invasion. Dmitry and Dima have been forced to leave their homes in order to ensure their own personal safety. I am raising funds for them to cover costs associated with their re-location including:

  • Transportation Costs
  • Immigration Fees
  • Immigration Legal Assistance
  • Housing

A little bit more about Dmitry:

Dmitry is a father of two boys Oleksandr (9) and Kostiantyn (6) along with his lovely wife Olha. Dmitry is a backend engineer on our team and in addition to being a great developer he has an incredible sense of humor and knowledge of American pop culture.

A little bit more about Dima:

Dima is a frontend mobile developer for our app team. When he's not building out app user interfaces he spends his free time taking vocal classes. Dima lives in Kharkiv one of the hardest hit combat areas in Ukraine.

These funds will go directly to Dmitry and Dima to cover any expenses they may incur as they have been forced from their homes. Any unused funds will be donated to the Ukrainian Orphan's Aid Assocation to provide help to children orphaned due to the war.

"OAS provides material and moral support for Ukrainian orphans and half orphans up to 18 years of age. For those orphans pursuing their education in institutions of higher learning stipend assistance can be maintained. OAS focuses on children outside of state funded institutions. It is our belief that a family environment is more conducive to a child’s development than that of an institution. Hence our approach of providing direct financial assistance to guardians and relatives of orphans who might otherwise not be able to support an orphaned child.
