After leading the Two Spirit Nation camp at Oćeti Śakwoin in Standing Rock and continuing to pursue opportunities to empower Indigenous Womxn Warriors, I have been invited to offer my Spiritual Activism and skill set to the Womxn Warriors attending this International Gathering as well as attending as a participant to learn from other Indigenous Womxn Warriors from around the globe and from the Womxn Warriors of the Zapatista .
After personally witnessing the indepth impact us Womxn Warriors and Two Spirit Warriors made during Standing Rock, I have continued to put my energy into creating spaces and intentionally working towards bringing visibility to decolonizing ceremonies and sacred spaces to invite and call in Two Spirits and the Womxn Warriors/healers/leaders to be seen, heard, honored and respected. Because it is our colonizers & conquistadors who attempted to eradicate our roles and break down the strength & backbones of our sacred circles with misogyny, patriarchy and removing the sacredness of Two Spirits..
Aside from conducting a healing ceremony, I will also be providing a resiliency training on how to utlize our traumatic experiences on the frontlines as a means of bringing empowerment back to our communities.
As a militia for the people, this gathering is not funded or requesting a registration fee, so all participants and trainers are required to be self sufficient and fully responsible for their own travel, food and personal needs. I am leaning on my community, ally's and loved ones for support as I will be representing more than just the Two Spirit Nation, but as a Womxn Warrior and all the intersectionalities I represent and protect in this journey that I have embraced with prayer & unshakable faith.
It is important to me that I attend so that I can continue to contribute my Two Spirit medicine, ancestral guidance and fierce winyan warrior self to this historical gathering of rebel Womxn. It is also important for me to be able to bring back the lessons, spirits and medicine to our Water Protector Women, Indigenous Womxn Warriors, for the Women who are the survivors from our broken system, and to honor the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women✊❤️⚡️
