On Monday, February 17th , my daughter's beloved., tripod, rescue dog Jackson collapsed, his gums were white and tacky and he was rushed to our local Veterinary emergency hospital.
Jackson was in critical condition and received 2 blood transfusions, extensive Diagnostics, and had surgery to remove advanced aspergillosis fungus from his nasal cavities and to remove damaged bone and tissue.
When Jackson was first adopted he was taken to the veterinarian multiple times with a runny nose, greenish discharge from his nose, lethargy, multiple symptoms. We were repeatedly told that he likely had allergies. Allergy medications and antibiotics never totally alleviated the problem. This fungus was growing in his head for over 2 years and now it has nearly taken his life.
Kayleigh has done absolutely everything she can to make sure he receives proper treatment and has a chance at a normal life.
She has spent well over $7,000 but has reached the bottom of her well. Her credit card and Care Credit Card account are maxed. We learned today that Jackson will require further treatment.
It is very difficult to ask for help but we have no other choice.
Jackson will need very expensive further treatments, medications, and repeated blood work.
So that's why we would appreciate any help offered, no amount is too small.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.❤
