My baby boy Rocky is the sweetest 9 year old. He developed a cancer in his testicles. He underwent surgery and got castrated. Now the cancer appeared in his inner thigh and he needs surgery, treatment and medicine.
Hi, my name is Samuel. I’m a 21 year old college student and I work as a waiter. My dog Rocky was recently diagnosed with cancer. It started in the testicles so I had him operated and castrated. The Dr told me that the cancer was malicious and that it might come back. After a month he started to swell up next to the scrotum. So I took him to his vet to check up on him and see if it was the cancer that was flaring up. And in deed it was, so next step was running more tests on him, operating (biopsy) and prescribe medicine while we wait for the results. His initial tests and medicine are $1,668.00 (this includes a biopsy of the cancer, sonograms, blood work, drainage of the swollen area, aspiration of the kidneys and spleen to see if the cancer has spread to other organs). The Dr said that treatment is going to be a must and that the oncologist will also prescribe some steroids and some other meds. He is also eating special food to keep him strong and going. This is a big load that just dropped on my shoulders. Please help with any amount, he’s been my best friend since I was 13, I can’t imagine a life without him. He is the joy in our home and the one who uplifts us when we’re feeling down. Thank you.
