On Friday, 1-31-21, my mother's car was stolen from her handicap parking spot in her apartment complex. Although she had locked the doors and the alarm was on, her car was still stolen. Someone had pried off the lock/handle on the driver side. The insurance is offering quite a bit less than what it is worth, and she is not able to purchase a reliable vehicle with it. As a single woman, she is living paycheck to paycheck, and does not have the finances to make up the difference. My mother has contributed to the community over the years, as an AYSO team mom, a Girl Scout Leader, and a 4-H Leader. She has volunteered with Forgotten Soldiers, Samaritan's Purse, and the Red Cross, just to name a few organizations. She still provides a great service to the community by giving loving, quality child care to elementary children every day. Please give whatever you can to help my mother, who is always helping everyone else.
