Rebecca's mom is not well and Rebecca had not seen her since 2002 when her family of six came to the U.S. as refugees. Now, she has borrowed money for her and 2 of the children for travel to Ethiopia to visit her.
Rebecca, Jima and their 5 children spent 10 years in a refugee camp before arriving in Columbia, MO from Ethiopia in 2002. They have worked hard at making a successful, new life here and they all have become citizens. Now Rebecca wishes to visit her ailing mother, to introduce her to Samira, the granddaughter she has never seen, and to see Nura who is now in college in Arizona.
They will be forever grateful for your help!
