I am raising money for mental health awareness. All donations will go to teens that need help getting mental health services. Additional donations will be made to the school and local mental health agencies.
Konnar Fuller is the founder of Find Hope PDX. In 2013, he started experiencing how it is to be bullied and feeling not wanted by anyone. Everyday he woke up, went to school, and continued living life as if he was "OK", but he knew that he wasn't "OK". He kept the "OK" face for four years straight. He tried to see if people would help, but no one was there to help. He didn't seek parental help because he was scared that they'll be upset with him and he thought he would be a burden. Every single day of those four years he wasn't "OK". In June of 2017, he moved from the state where he was being bullied. He moved to Portland, Oregon to hopefully have a restart on life and finally be accepted by people. Through the majority of the summer, he tried so hard to get friends and hang out with them. However, the terrible trauma that he was left with from the previous four years came back to haunt him. In August, he put the "OK" face back on for another two months. After those two months he gave up. At the age 16 he wanted to attempt suicide. He had it planned out that after he got home and as he was getting off the bus, (by a busy road) he was going to run out in front of a car and take his life. He thought he had no one there for him, until he went to his school counselor. He admitted to her that everything was not okay at all. He told her everything! It felt great getting that burden off his shoulders. His counselor called his parents and told them Konnar wanted to attempt suicide. Konnar was taken to the ER and was evaluated. Later that week, he was admitted to Unity Behavioral Health Center for help. He was released 6 days later. He entered the outside world with a confident attitude and didn't want to lose it, but it took time. Through the support of others, he worked through it. It was a bumpy few months.
