As you many recall, the PranaTonic studio that had been at 2600 East Street in Golden closed its physical doors in April due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, owner Kimball Cicciu has offered a full schedule (30/week) of virtual and in-person (in Parfet Park) yoga classes to help PranaTonic’s members and the Golden community maintain their health, fitness, and stress reduction during these challenging times.

Since her brick and mortor yoga studio closed, Kimball’s dream has been to find the right space to house both her yoga and the PranaTonic Wellness Clinic that has been in business for 20+ years helping people maintain a high level of physical wellness, energy, and mental, emotional and spiritual well-being through acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, cupping, nutrition, and a variety of wellness services and workshops. To have both under one roof would create a synergystic wellness center for the citizens of Golden and our neighboring communities.

Fast forward a few months, and Kimball’s perfect location for PranaTonic has been found (yay!)! Initially, she considered the former Foothills Chapel to transform into a yoga and wellness center, but this would have taken too much time and expense to rennovate. Instead, she found the PERFECT studio at 1224 Washington Avenue that was the former home of Kindness Yoga (before that, Vital Yoga) in the heart of downtown Golden that has treatment rooms for her wellness clinic and one of the most gorgeous and calming yoga spaces pretty much anywhere in the Denver area.

PranaTonic and our supporters launched this site to raise funds to support the basics of bringing the yoga studio and clinic to life in the shortest amount of time. Kimball is targeting gradually starting in-person classes in early August and moving her clinic to its new home by the end of August. Every donation is deeply appreciated and goes directly to this wonderful cause!
