In 1985, Nir served as a Platoon Sergeant in a combat unit, and lost his leg when an IED detonated during an operation behind enemy lines. After his recovery and between the years of 1986-1996 Nir served in an intelligent unit of the ministry of defense, where he suffered additional injuries to his back during an operation. Nir is a father of seven who spent so many years of his life protecting us, defending our homeland.
Many of us were fortunate to meet and ride with Nir this past year in Dubai and in Israel, in 2019 . Nir has been a part of TNR since 2018, and never misses a training session. In fact, since starting to train with TNR, Nir has lost more than 40 kilo!
A few years ago, with the support of my friends and fellow cyclists, I was fortunate to buy a hand bike for Chaya! The new bike has enabled Chaya to train and cycle faster than most us!
Now it’s Nir’s turn!
