Hi i would like to get my father the right medical attention he needs to prevent getting bed sores because of him being in bed the whole day and to take or at least make the pressure less so he doesn't get these bruises on he's legs and feet. He is one of 2 people in the world that has this tipe of problems and that's pain, he struggles with pain 24/7 and the doctors cant do anything about it or give any medication for it due to he's spinal court that got shot off when a armed robbery happened at our house in 2014 the 1st of October when he tried to defend me and my younger brother of getting hurt. And he did the best he could, unfortunately I the oldest son came running out after the gun fire and they saw me and also shot me in the right upper leg that time i was 15 years of age and i turned 16 in hospital the 25th October my present was to walk away with both my legs and not a missing body part. We were kept hostage for 20 minutes before the police arrived at the house. The robbers ran and got away all 5 of them and that's a unsolved case. After the robbery things got tough and he's Parter divorced him and only my father, me and brother where left and had to move to a new place to stay. Then 3 months later my Father sold he's company so we can have food and a roof over our heads. We didn't stay long at the new house we had financial problems and he couldn't find work. Me and my younger brother were still in school, My brother finished school and got he's Matric and I on the other hand dropped out to help with bills to pay. We got a call on 2019 the 15 February from a very good friend of my father and he helped us to say we can go and stay on he's farm and we don't need to pay a thing. We are now still staying on the same farm since then. All went good until 2020 and COVID 19 happened. My fathers friend who's farm we are currently staying on lost he's company in Zimbabwe and he's also struggling to pay he's bills and all he's outstanding debt. My father got a light stroke a month later and also a new bed wound just when the old ones came right after 2 years. This bed wound is as big as a persons fist and he needs the right bed mattress for he's condition and also a new wheelchairs that is made for he's length and weight. He can't spend a lot of time in he's chair, he needs to keep the pressure of the wound or it gets worse. I can't describe to anyone what he's going through i can only tell you from my side what i see everyday and honestly i would never wish something like this on anyone. My father is a strong man and doesn't show lot's of emotion but I've seen him fighting just to see me and my brother grow older and to be there with us for many more years ahead. We keep on praying and thanking the Lord for stil being alive and together after all that went wrong my Father Marius Laas still stays strong and he's truly someone to look up to in life. That's my reason to start this fund raising for my father to have a not better life, just a more comfortable life. My father is 55 years old but stil full of life and also stil biting the bullet for us. I'm he's first born son Heinco Laas and i believe things wil get better for us and the other people out there who's also struggling with different problems, that things wil get better on the other side, just keep on fighting and never loose faith, hape and prayer. Thank you for reading my story, i hope it wil be a positive message to anyone who reads this to never give up and to always appreciate another day and moment with your loved ones. Thank you and God Bless

AMEN.
