I am fundraising to keep myself from becoming homeless and to help pay some small recurring bills for the next two months. I have been out of work since March and living on credit cards since August.

I am floored. As of today, thanks to you all sharing, reblogging, retweeting and donating, I am at 77 percent of my goal. I am so, SO close to being fully funded!
Thank you everyone. Keep circulating the link. And for those that celebrate, Happy Holidays!
In March, I lost my job.I was at my last job for nearly 6 years, and the pressure plus the constant budget cuts, resource de-allocations despite increasing demand and the callous way I was treated all combined to me having a nervous breakdown last November, placement disability leave for almost 3 months thereafter, and then an aborted attempt to return.I haven't been able to find work.
I have been looking for work non-stop since then. The job applications have been in the triple digits. In person, on line, tailored resumes and cover letters, email blast. I have applied to everything from cashier to busboy to remote customer service to writing to design to sales to editing and more. I've been trying to raise money in the meantime.I have launched a side business offering unique cute bespoke art in a style not offered many places elsewhere. I have attempted to monetize my hobbies and my free time. I have been selling possessions. I take consumer surveys. I send a company my junk mail and get $15/month. I hustle for freelance work where I can find it. I've been living off my credit cards since August.
My time is running out.
I qualified for one-time emergency rental assistance. My rent is 595/month and I was approved for emergency assistance that will cover December and January. If I am not working or have some sort of income or cash flow after then, I don't know how I'm gonna keep a roof over my head. Forget moving to a new place-- one needs money for that (and furniture, and, and...) and proof of work. Even rooms for rental are asking for w-2s and the like now.I need your help.I am down to my last $100 in my checking account. I have medication to pay for, and recurring bills that will be due in December and January. The amount I have set as a goal should cover the fundraising fee, those bills, medication and at least 2 month's more rent after January. Any amount helps, and if you can't donate, sharing this across your social media is good too. Thanks for your time, and patience.

In the past 2 weeks, I have gone from half of my goal to almost 70 percent funded. This is incredible. Amazing. Thank you to everyone that has donated and spread the word.
A wonderful Christmas gift would be being fully funded by the end of the month. Please pass this on to help us get there!

I am floored. Over the weekend, you all have donated enough that I'm at 20 percent of my goal already.
I am touched by your generosity, your words of encouragement, your help. Whether it's been spreading the word or pitching in with funds, every single one of you has helped, and I'm so, so grateful
