For the past 2 summers, the Koenig Family BBQ has been made possible by a borrowed spit. Because that spit is no longer available to borrow, we are hopeful that you- our friends & family, would be willing to chip in and help us purchase one so we can make our annual BBQ more self sustaining.

In addition to a spit, we would like to start purchasing things like reusable cups, utensils and flatware to help reduce the amount of waste that can come with hosting parties like this.

We would also like to give something to the community. In addition to purchasing the spit and reusable products, a percentage of funds raised will go to a local non-profit. This season, we have chosen one close to us; Teton Valley Foundation's Kotler Ice Arena's capital campaign. The rink is a special place to us; Becky works there in the winter teaching classes, sharpening skates, and among other things- drives the Zamboni. It's great place to spend a weekend night by playing in the pond hockey league or to just come an cheer on your friends and/or their kids. KIA is getting closer to it's second phase of it's capital campaign which will expand the warming hut, add more bathrooms, and add additional locker rooms to the facility. This also includes finishing locker room interiors to provide a permanent, suitable space for teams. Any contribution helps, so why not help out by helping us roast a pig yearly!

Money left over will go into a savings account and will go towards future pig roasts and non-profits.

We appreciate you taking the time to read this and any contribution you can make.
