Help make my goal weight dream come true

Help make my goal weight dream come true

From Matthew Stevens

I am raising money for a new commuter mountain bike. I walk 2 miles one way to work and back. I want to get cardio in by riding. I am overweight and trying to better my life. Not to mention a bike is better for the earth

My story starts back on August 30th, 2019. My wife Lauren was driving home from work and got into a car accident. Our van "Vanna" was a total loss. After that, I had only three options for getting to work. I work the morning shifts usually starting at 6am.

Option 1.. Walk...the store is 2 miles from my house. And it takes me a while. Half the route is uphill.

Option 2.. Walk I mile to the bus station and catch the bus to work. The negative with this is I end up being 10 minutes late.

Option 3..Call Uber.. my Uber cost is about $15 one way.

I have decided to add an option 4....and this is where all of you come in. I am looking to raise the money to purchase a Trek Marlin 6 commuter bicycle. I have spoke to the local bike shop owner and thus bike has a weight limit that I am under. He also offers free service on the bike for the bikes life. It will greatly cut my commute time down... and get me great exercise. I have been waking for 3 weeks and lost 2 pants sizes and lost 10 lbs. With this bike my commute time goes from an hour to 18 minutes. I am very tired of walking everywhere. My hope is that you can get behind this page...or at the very least hit the share button. I hope you are all well. And I plan on getting equipment with the donations. Anything left over will be going to a local animal shelter. Thank you all.
