Help Mad Cow Theatre Take Care of Artists & Staff!

From Mad Cow Theatre Company

Mad Cow Theatre wants to take care of its artists and staff during this difficult time. We have cancelled various productions as well as our B&W Bash, and we are left without resources to make this happen.

Hello, Herd!

Like so many other arts organizations across the world, Mad Cow Theatre has been hit hard by the outbreak of COVID-19. The Center for Disease Control has now restricted group gatherings to 10 people or less and because of this, Mad Cow has been forced to cease all events for the foreseeable future. This shift will end up costing the theatre $175,000 in revenue when all is said in done. The events that we have either lost or postponed indefinitely are:

Our production of All My Sons which was set to open March 27th
All My Sons Drama Club set for March 20th
Valencia College's Cinema Nights set for March 23rd
Science Play Festival readings
Our annual fundraiser, The Black & White Bash, which was set for May 2nd
It Was a Very Good Year Cabaret

Cancelling these events and productions does not cancel the expenses that go with them. Ticket sales have stopped, but Mad Cow is working diligently to compensate its staff, artists, designers for their dedication and hard work. In addition, our space on Church Street is not open to the public, but the bills remain.

We humbly ask that if you are able, would you please consider a gift to the theatre? We believe that now more than ever, theatre and art has the ability to keep us united. We thank you so much for the support that you all have shown us, and we hope that we are able to open our doors again soon to share another beautiful story.

Much love,
The Cows
