I am raising money for my buddy Haris who was scammed out of his tuition money. For him to sign up for his 4th year of medical school he needs to pay before the 1st week of September!
Hello all! My name is Evan and I am fundraising for my dear friend Haris in his pursuit to become a doctor.
In a series of unfortunate events, my buddy was scammed out of his $3,000 of tuition money in Yerevan, Armenia. He had trusted the agents in the school administration office to submit his payment, but, so has it they took it for their own personal gain.
Haris contacted the police, filed reports, and even contacted his own embassy, but he has come up short on a solution. All of this information is documented and can be shared. This money is extremely important for Haris because school starts the first week of September 2022! If Haris doesn't pay his tuition for this upcoming semester he will be forced to take time off and redo this year, no ifs, and's, or buts!
Haris is in the 4th of his 6 years in medical school to be a general practitioner and in the future to be a medical specialist in India and abroad. He comes from a hardworking family in the Bihar province of India in the Eastern region. He is one of 5 siblings in a family of 7.
The road has been challenging but Haris has persevered to achieve most of his education. He was previously studying in Ukraine, supporting himself by giving tours to new students and helping them integrate into life in a new country. However, as most of you know the war broke out, and lost his main source of income and has been making his way as best as he can by teaching children in India.
My goal is to help my friend get back on his feet and get through this next year of school. If we can reach our goal of 3k just for his schooling we would have achieved what we set out to do. The extra 1k amounting to $4,000 is strictly for his school expenses for this upcoming semester.
Haris is one of the nicest, humblest, and most caring people I've had the pleasure of meeting.
