Please Help Hardzei (Gordey) Beat Leukemia

Please meet Hardzei (Gordey)Shtermer,

Hardzei is a ten-year-old boy from Gomel, Belarus. Till about a year ago, Hardzei was a very active boy who enjoyed going to school and playing soccer. Sadly, everything has changed when Hardzei was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia last year. Hardzei went through many rounds of unbearable chemotherapy and took them like a champ without a tear or complain. Hardzei gets his toughness from his dad, the USSR Greco-Roman wrestling champion. Unfortunately, the therapy was unsuccessful, and Belarusian doctors don’t have needed resources to help Hardzei in his battle with this horrible disease. But, neither Hardzei nor his family are ready to give up. With God’s help, they were able to find experimental treatment that shows positive results among children with the same type of leukemia as Hardzei’s. The experimental treatment is provided by Texas Children’s Hospital, USA, and costs about $500,000. This is an enormous amount of money, especially, for someone who lives in Belarus where an average monthly salary is about $500 per person or probably even less than that. Shtermer family is doing everything possible to come up with needed amount of money. With generous help of their family, friends, charities, and kind people, they were able to gather the most of needed amount for Hardzei’s treatment. However, they are still lacking about $100,000. Тяжелые химические капельницы и все болезненные процедуры Гордей переносил молодцом. Даже врачи удивлялись. Взрослые парни 20+ не могли сдержаться, а у Гордея - ни слезинки. Но сейчас ему одному не справиться. Белорусская медицина исчерпала свои возможности. Родители вместе в врачами нашли клинику в США, где есть экспериментальное лечение, которое дает супер-результаты в борьбе с таким видом рака. Депозит 500.000$. Исследование бесплатное, но родители должны внести депозит 500.000$. В него входит госпитализация и возможные риски Texas Children’s. Цифра огромная, но сама новость хорошая.
