Bills, life, repairs and owning a small busines is brutal at times. We are looking to stay afloat and keep our business going . Your donation would be used to help us make critical repairs and pay critical bills
After 19 years of supporting my family on a single income and working tirelessly for a single company, like many others, I was laid off, without notice at the start of the pandemic. No severance, just a phone call and no job, just like that at 53 years of age.
My wife and I didnt waste anytime, and started to talk about our options, and the idea of our own food truck. We scraped together all the cash we had, and with some help from our family and friends, we were able to purchase our first $5000 food trailer. Since then, we have had some great success in building our business, giving back to our community, and getting to purchase a newer and larger trailer in October of last year. This has all been a blessing.Despite this success, as a family of 6, we are still living week to week , sometimes day to day , wondering how we are going to make this work. We woud love to have access to extra working capital and be able to make some important repairs to the vehicle we tow our trailer with, and some critical equipment that would help us participate in a greater number of off site events. Every dollar donated would go to a good cause , in helping me support our family, and support the dream we have.
As we approach our 2 year anniversary, sales continue to grow , and the business is profitable. We've been supplementing our income most recently by working second jobs, in order to pay down debt and keep our shelves full in order to do business daily.
Pride gets in the way of asking for help, so this is very difficult. I am passionate about what we've created , and despite the challenges, set backs and obstacles, there is never a day that I dont feel grateful, blessed and excited about opening that front window.
Whether we raise a single dollar or hit our goal, a the work, the plan and the dream live on.
