Donating Today Gives Them A Tomorrow

Donating Today Gives Them A Tomorrow

From Jodi Rigler

Every year 100's of orphaned and injured wildlife find their way to wildlife rehabilitators. With no funding from state or local government, donations are vital to rehabbers. Please help us save our wildlife today.

Why is one life more valuable than another?

This is a question we don't have an answer to.  The availability of funds and grants to help domesticated animals is everywhere, which is a blessing because so much animals are in need.  What is heartbreaking is the lack of similar resources for our wildlife. Every spring the calls start flooding in. Orphaned babies because we still allow the mothers to be killed if they are deemed a "nuisance". Babies without mothers because what used to be wooded habitats are now paved roadways and wildlife is no match for a vehicle traveling at 60mph. We seem to be accepting of the fact that our dogs and cats often kill wildlife. Yet, we are intolerant and seeks justice when a wild animal makes a meal out of a chicken in our yard. We believe every life matters. We believe in second chances. We believe in showing care and kindness to all animals in need.

Wildlife rehabilitation provides our wildlife with a second chance. It's the only chance these animals have. Rehabilitators volunteer their time and resources to feed and care for animals whose only other option is death.

Please consider donating to help provide these dedicated individuals with formula, caging, medical and sanitation supplies and other essential items.  The goal of this fundraiser wouldn't cover the yearly expenses of just rehabilitator, but it will help provide numerous rehabbers with a little bit of what they need.  The average cost of 20 lbs of formula is over $200. Many animals require veterinary care. We can't put into words how grateful these rehabbers are to receive a tub of formula or a box of puppy pads. Your donations not only help save lives, but also produce smiles.

Join us in giving a helping hand to our wildlife and those dedicated to their survival, but above all, please accept our heartfelt thank you for sharing our love and respect of all living creatures.
