Help Drone Master Pro LLC fund the equipment necessary to establish a drone flight training facility for our mentoring program in which Veterans and high-functioning autistic individuals will partner and train together to become FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilots, Visual Observers, Repair Technicians, and other positions within the company.

First, a background on the founding of Drone Master Pro LLC is in order. From its very inception, our goal has been to hire high-functioning individuals on the autism spectrum and partner them with a Veteran. The reason for this is very simple. Many individuals on the autism spectrum can be extremely literal, have great difficulty in interpreting facial expressions and body language, and are lacking in typical social skills and confidence; but they also possess alternative thought processes to approach problems from a new and different perspective. They find comfort in following rigid routines, which is where the Veteran and his/her military background comes in.

We believe that Veterans are uniquely qualified to work one-on-one and mentor those on the spectrum due to their extensive training in their service to our great country with bravery and honor. This partnership gives the autistic individual an American Hero to look up to and provides the Veteran the opportunity to be a mentor and guide to autistic individuals who are often marginalized in finding, and keeping, employment.

The importance of this project is very personal to us because our son was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at age 16. He has struggled to “fit in” his entire life (he’s now 30) and has felt ostracized by society’s expectations for what is considered “normal.” We started Drone Master Pro LLC to help our son have a rewarding career in his areas of extreme interest – gaming and flying. We discovered that his autistic ability to hyper-focus and his attention to detail lends itself perfectly to the safe operation of unmanned aerial systems (drones) – and strict adherence to FAA rules and regulations. Our logo was designed specifically to have a subtle reference to autism, by making the drone image a puzzle piece – the universal symbol for autism awareness.

We have watched our son become more confident and better able to interact in social situations because of the training and mentoring he received from his stepfather – a U.S. Navy Veteran. Now, we want to give other Veterans and autistic individuals the opportunity to excel in similar partnerships – and have a rewarding career working with Drone Master Pro LLC.

Drone Master Pro LLC services include residential and commercial drone operations in the states of West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania, and are currently conducted by our autistic son, an FAA Part 107 certified Drone Pilot, and his stepfather, a Veteran Visual Observer (VO).

Drone Master Pro LLC has obtained FAA 107.41 Airspace Authorizations for nearly every airport in the above states (excluding military bases). We have also obtained an FAA Operational Waiver for flying at night (107.29) and are one of less than 50 companies in the U.S. to have our over humans Operational Waiver (107.39). This allows us to legally fly over groups of people at public gatherings such as weddings, concerts, fairs, and other outdoor events, including construction inspections.
