This is Fred Kross who is fighting for his life. He now has stage 4 incurable cancer and in the hospital with the 2nd blockage due to tumors in his colon. It is a critical time as tumors are growing!
He’s in the hospital at this time and will find out tomorrow if he has to have surgery again for another blockage. This poor man has been through so much and can’t seem to get a break. I met Fred years ago at a Networking Group! He was an attorney at his own company and I started having closings with him. Somehow we started dating and after 24 years of being divorced, I took a leap of faith and we moved in together. I was really excited because we had been having lots of closings and I was on top of the world! Two months after we moved in, he got sick. After months of going to different doctors and they kept saying he was sick because of his diabetes, a blood test showed he had lost 50% of his bodies blood. After a colonoscopy, it showed Fred had stage 3 cancer with a tumor in his colon. He had the tumor removed along with 18 inches of his colon and 2 cancerous lymph nodes removed. After 12 rounds of chemo a scan in January of 2018 showed he was cancer free. He had a colonoscopy in April of 2018 and also showed cancer free. In August of 2018 he started having horrible stomach cramps and after a scan, he was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable cancer with multiple tumors in his colon and in his stomach. There were too many tumors for surgery so they started him on an aggressive chemo called foxfiri which has kicked his butt. He became so week and kept throwing up. After 7 chemo treatments, the dr ordered a scan which showed a tumor was causing a partial blockage in his colon and tumors were bigger and there were more. So this chemo had not worked . He had surgery on Feb 4th and was in hospital almost 2 weeks. In the last few weeks he has really gotten weaker and sicker. His stomach keeps filling up with fluid and he started throwing up again. Fred had to shut down his business in 2017 because he was so sick all the time. He worked for another closing attorney in 2018 when he got better but then got too sick to do closings again. I have been trying to work around taking care of him and he is still waiting on disability. He was trying so hard to go to my sons wedding but walked out of the door and fell because he’s too weak to catch himself. Just in the last week, he was not been able to walk to doctors office. So I’m driving him and going into drs office to get wheelchair and come back to get him. Trying to get some home health care for him and the dr has some chemo pills he wants to put him on after surgery that are very expensive. Most of my friends don’t even recognize him when they see him he’s so frail and weak. Please pray for Fred! And if you feel like donating, we really appreciate it! Thanks so much for reading Fred’s story. It breaks my heart
