Help For My Mom

Hey everyone! I am being vulnerable and doing something I never thought I would have to do, which is ask for help for a family member. If you know me at all, you know that I am a very private, self-sufficient, and independent person. This will come as a shock to most, but for some you know this is a battle that we have faced for years now. My mom has struggled with addiction for many years - a lot of those years we had no idea. In the midst of her addiction, she has also been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I have exhausted all resources, and to put it plainly I need help getting her through this last step. She has been accepted to Vertava Health, which is a 30 day program where she will detox off the medication that has control of her life and then learn how to cope without the medicine that she has been on for 15+ years. I am first asking for prayers for what I imagine will be a very difficult 30 days once I can get her in there. Secondly, if you feel led to help me get her there I would greatly appreciate any financial help. My mom does not have health insurance, so the money for her stay has to be paid up front. Please know this decision was not made lightly. We just know we have so many people that love, support, and want what is best for us. This last step will give me the peace I need and I pray it will change my family and my mom’s life forever!
