Update #2

With some early private donations, Tomek and co. have managed to get needed military gear to Ukrainians working hard to defend their country. Thank you for your help and lets keep it going! Please share with anyone you know who may be able to help. A dollar is a vote for peace and against aggression - any amount makes a difference!

More Info

Please meet Tomek, Marta, my cousin, and their friends in Gliwice, Poland.

Since the first day of the invasion, they have brought supplies into and people out of Ukraine. They do this work at night so they can go to work during the day.

This is a typical transport night. It is a several hours car ride to the border.

They are currently housing over 120 Ukrainians and transporting many more. The utility bills, food, medicine, daily supplies, van hires, petrol, and much more, they cover from their own pockets.

They have raised funds for one transport a week, but the need is one a day.

They can do it and more, but they need our help.

They help their friends across the border unload the supplies for transport deeper into Ukraine. The supplies include items for the military like gloves and long pants and food, medicine and coats for children still stuck inside Ukraine.

During these transports, they are at great risk, but the need is worth the risk.

You've heard that these are all normal people like you and me. And it is true.

These people are my cousin and his friends and their friends and family members; our extended friends and family members helping one another.

The trucks should be full. We can help to re-supply Ukraine by helping grassroots efforts like these. Logistics can be difficults, but they've figured it out and can move fast.

Please consider donating to help. They have never asked me for anything, but they are asking for all of our help now. Help filling up the trucks and being able to pick up and house more people.

They've helped mothers and children find safe haven, families still stuck in Ukraine obtain warm attire, re-outfit Ukrainian fighters, and more.

Please help them not only to continue but to do even more.

Every penny will go directly upon withdrawal to my cousin Maciek Siedlecki in Gliwice, Poland.

I am in direct contact with Tomek and Marta, and some of our American friends who have gone to Gliwice to volunteer packing supplies.

Tomek will provide receipts to account for all donations. He will also send photos of the supplies purchased and civilians and soldiers helped to share with all donors.

Sincerely,Adrianna
