My son was diagnosed with leukemia on 6/14/17. He passed away on 6/19/18. I'm trying to raise enough money to get the iPad he used during his 12 months in the hospital sent off to be fixed.

After my son passed away, I carried his iPad with me every spare moment I had. That is until I accidentally dropped it in the driveway and broke the screen. But even with the destroyed screen It still worked somewhat. I eventually saved enough money to order a new screen. By then though the charging port stopped working. I ordered the part to fix that too but when I took it apart to repair everything, I learned that I don't have the necessary tools to solder the charging port in place and the board it connects to is fried and needs replaced too. For that reason I have been trying to figure out a way to get it fixed by professionals. It's been a year and a half since it's worked. If I would have thought to upload all of the pictures and videos that he recorded on it to where I still had access to them then I wouldn't even do this kind of asking. But anyway, I appreciate any help that may or may not come. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
