Help family prevent homelessness

Help family prevent homelessness

From Alyssa Marie

I’m trying to raise money to prevent my family from going through homelessness/separation. I have a 2 y.o and raise my 10 y.o bonus daughter full time. Backrent/latefees have piled up after loss of primary income.

Hi! I’m trying to raise money for my family of four. I’m a bonus mom to one amazing 10 yo girl and a first time mom to my 2 y.o son. Honestly, a lot of things have changed over the last year to year and 1/2 but we have tried to weather the storm. My daughter’s bio-mom decided she no longer wanted to be apart of her day to day life. So we have full time. Then I was at home to tend to the kids while dad worked but eventually I picked up a pt job to work after he would get off because things were getting really tight. Then he had lack of work for months due to a lay off and we were left with just my low paying PT job. While I continued to make payments to my landlord the balance piled up. I’ve tried our local rental arrears assistance, they ran out of funding while I was in the process and unfortunately we only have minimal resources available in my county. I’ve been here 3 years. This understandably agitated my landlord even more but I can say we are definitely trying to get back on our feet and keep our family together. My kids look for each other daily, as siblings should, my bonus baby has been through so much already this year I hate myself for failing them. So I’m asking for help, I’ve offered my admin. services on online forums, started small businesses I couldn’t sustain due to stress and lack of return in the time necessary. I feel hopeless. Nobody owes anyone anything but I’m asking for your help if you can. My family would forever be grateful for any help/donation(s)/support. Feel free to reach out. Thank you in advance and just for taking the time to read our story.
