Robaba Mohammadi is an artist from Afghanistan who has no use of her limbs and therefore paints with a brush held in her mouth. She wants to attain asylum in the U.S. or elsewhere and continue creating and teaching art.
We may have found someone who can temporarily house Robaba's family while she is here.
Robaba's artistic career has been steadily growing since 2016. In 2019 she founded the Robaba Arts and Cultural Center in Kabul to teach other budding Afghan artists. When the Taliban took over Kabul in August, they shut down the center. The Taliban is firmly against women creating art or music and teaching others. Robaba wants to re-establish her Center online to inspire as many artists around the world as possible. Your donation will not only help her do this, but will help her get her family out of Afghanistan.
