We are asking for donations to assist in the burial of John Scalf & expenses the family incurred during his final days.
My family grew up next-door to the Scalf family & my mother Sandy Hellard(Fox) and Juanita have stayed very close friends over the years. Following in their late sons Jonathan & Dustin’s footsteps, Juanita & John have been very active in charity work, specifically for children in need - including a scholarship fund in Dustin’s name, long-time members of the Berea Kiwanis Club where Juanita is the current president & John was also the president for three years, coaching baseball, softball, football, and basketball, as well as volunteering for Marine Corp Reserves and Toys for Tots of Madison county.
We are hoping now to bring some comfort & financial relief to Johns Family. Juanita Scalf, John’s wife & Johnna Lear, John’s daughter, have been through more tragedy and loss than a family should ever have to endure. My family has assisted with past funeral & headstone expenses for John’s late sons, Dustin & Jonathan, but need your help to give John a proper burial. Please help us give back to a family that has given everything they have and more to our community.
